The mechanical wear and tear with gear wheel flow meters of the type kza by kobold messring gmbh, can be reduced to a minimum because the rotations can be read off contact-free from the outside through the housing. The measuring devices in robust aluminium housing can tolerate a pressure load of up to 160 bar and are perfectly suitable for the measuring of viscous media.
Five types with different dimensions cover measuring ranges from 0.02…4 l/min to 1…200 l/min. The viscosity can range from 20 to 4000 mm˛/s. With a viscosity range of 1 to 3000 mm˛/s, a particularly high-quality model equipped with a ball bearing is offered, which reaches an accuracy of 0.3% of the measured value.
A pulse output informs about the current media flow. Furthermore, two powerful evaluating electronics are provided. A very good readable display on site is one of the characteristics of the plug-on displays type auf. The indicators, which can be turned in steps of 90°, are located between the plug and the base. The easy operation via two buttons can be carried out without problems on the site. A flow falling below or exceeding the measuring range will immediately be shown on the display. The robust plastics housing is designed according to protection class ip 65.
The separation of evaluating electronics and sensors allows comfortable remote monitoring and display away from the measuring point. The evaluating electronics offer various possibilities for adjustment and evaluation, including dosage.
