• Add to Inquiry Basket | Cnr engineering industries offers the capstan/second operation lathes which are widely used in the precision auto turned component manufacturers. This machine can give a large volume production, high accuracy, versatile, maintenance-free and even an unskilled labour also enough to operate. All the machine operations like turning, facing, boring, drilling, and tapping can be done both in ferrous and nonferrous materials. Built in rigid construction, graded casting ground to close tolerance, to withstand heavy load. All the slides are sg casting to minimize wear and tear. The machine comes in two type of 22 and 25 mm collet capacity. The spindle motor is 0.37/1.1 kw, 415 v and the spindle has 12 and 16 speed respectively. The spindle is case hardened steel and mounted on p4 class bearings both front and rear. Depending upon the operations, the customer can choose the accessories like lever compound slide, lever cutoff slide, lever tailstock, turret slide, coolant and bar feeding arrangement. Component can be clamped by the draw type collet and load/unload the component in the quick acting arrangement without stops the spindle motor.
