| Stafford controls limited manufactures high temperature control dampers. A customised flow control solution is the specialty of the company. High temperature control dampers is one such solution. These dampers are manufactured in various sizes up to 2 metres diametre, in materials such as carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel for hot air/ gas services for temperatures up to l000°c. Features made available on such specialty products: out board bearing, live loaded gland packing with purging system for stem seal for emission control of toxic gases, finned bonnet, variety of seat seal designs such as clearance seat, step seat, tadpole seat, metal interference seat, etc., to offer various class of leak tightness together with control automation based on process control need. Stafford controls is a wholly owned subsidiary of virgo engineers, known for its technology base on valves and automation systems with years of experience and proven track record. The picture shows the 1400 mm, swing through design hot gas dampers for thermax for flue gas service on co-generation plants.
