Dhakar engineers offershas launched an electronic breath analyser, model pd 6000. It which is a hand held, portable, battery operated, torch type device. When held in front of a person and switched on, the breath analyzerit beeps if the alcohol concentration in the breath has exceeded the preset limit. The instrument is factory pre-set with blood alcohol level at 50 mg beyond which the judgement capacity gets impaired. Blood alcohol level of an individual depends upon factors like quantity, speed, body weight, stomach, physiology etc. This breath analyzer is very useful for police to check night shift workers, drivers and regular drinkers. .
