The latest from the company is innovative 8808a digital multimeter comes with salient features like 5.5 digit resolution, multi-function measurement capability, and dual display to enabling the simultaneous measurement of two different but related parameters simplifying test and troubleshooting. The fluke 8808a digital multi-meter comes with six dedicated set-up buttons on the front panel that function as `pre-sets` similar to those on a car radio. The feature of these set-up buttons offers the advantage of making it fast and easy instrument for production operators to quickly follow a test procedure without having to push multiple buttons. Some of the salient features of this digital multimeter include a hi/lo limit compare mode with pass/fail indicators help take the guesswork out of testing and help eliminate production mistakes; set-up buttons with pass/fail test mode provide measurement consistency that improve quality and efficiency in manufacturing test applications; performance and flexibility required from bench meter in r&d, development and service applications, with measurement functions including volts, ohms, amps and frequency; 0.01 per cent basic volts dc accuracy; only meter in its class that features dedicated dc low current leakage measurement capability; uses high impedance input measurement circuit to take less than 2000 ua sensitive low current measurements; up to 100 na resolution; without loading the circuit under test. The company supplies patented split terminal jacks for 4-wire measurements using only two leads instead of four with the fluke 8808a multimeters with 2 x 4 ohms function.
