• Add to Inquiry Basket | Texfab engineers supplies flaker. This flaker is used to solidify the material in the form of flakes. These flaker is best suited for packing into containers or are easy to transfer for further process. Following are some of the technical features of this flaker which include: feeding material is fed in the trough and heating arrangements are made to mainatain liquidity of the material; cooling drum is directly immersed into a trough, which carries the material on its surface which is cooled in the cooling drum and transfers thin layer in less than one revolution. The layer is removed by a scraper blade in less than one revolution and also is removed by a scraper blade in the form of flakes, which are collected through hopper. The construction of cooling drum can be of mild steel/stainless steel with cooling water-spraying system inside the drum to provide even cooling effect on outer surface of drum. To rotate the drum to adjust the speed as required, a variable speed drive is provided. Flakers can be supplied with ms or ss hood to protect from fumes. The flaker finds its applicationsin chemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyestuffs, polymers, milk & dairy products, etc. |
