• Add to Inquiry Basket | Autonics corporation provides fibreoptic sensors. These fiberoptic sensors are mainly applicable for space constrained areas as well in high temperature applications. Constructional features include that there are two parts for fibreoptic sensors, one is the optical fibre cable and the other is the amplifier. A variety of fibreoptic cables are available for catering the requirements of various applications. These fibreoptic sensors [bf4r series] are auto tuning setting type. They are available with pnp or npn open collector outputs. Sensitivity can be adjusted using the buttons on the amplifier. The sensors have fast response time of 0.5 msec. These work on 12-24 v dc power supply. The sensors are provided with over-current protection and reverse polarity protection. Bf3rx is another series available which can be mounted on din rail. All fiber optic sensors are available with light on/ dark on facility to cater for the logical requirement of the controller which it is connected. They are plastic type for low temperature applications, glass type for high temperature applications. Typical applications include: to detect the form of target & reject the odd one; to detect the leads of electronics components; to detect the thread of screw; to detect the direction of movement of ic; to detect the tip of the life saving medicing bottle sprayers; to count the number of legs of an ic to reject the broken ic; in areas of high temperature of up to 250ºc [where normal sensor cannot be used]; and inside special purpose machine to detect the presence/absence of objects where an ordinary sensor cannot be mounted due to space constraints. |
