• Add to Inquiry Basket | The cr series of capacitive proximity sensors from autonics provides the cr series of capacitive proximity sensors. These proximity sensors can be used to detect all types of materials both metals and nonmetals like iron. Plastic, water, stone, wood, pow-der paper, glass, etc. This proximity sensor works on 12-24v dc for dc type and 100-240vac for ac type. The sensors have switching frequency of 50hz for dc type and 20hz for ac type. The output current can be up to a maximum of 200ma. The red led on the sensor provides information about the on/off condition of the sensor. The sensor is surge protected and reverses polarity protected. The sensor is ip class 66. Working principle of this proximity sensor is given by:; when any object comes near the sensing fce of the sensor, then the capacitance of the surrounding varies and is detected. Autonics sen-sors have long life cycle and high reliability. The sensitivity of this sensor can be adjusted by the potentiometer on the capacitive sensor also the sensitivity adjustment is used to restrict the area of sensing so that unwanted objects will not be detected. Autonics is having m18 & m30 size proximity sensors. The mix housings are available with a sensing range of 8mm. M30 housings are available with a sensing range of 15mm. Both ac 2wire and dc 3-wire versions are available with autonics. Both pnp & npn outputs are available in dc capacitive type. |
