• Add to Inquiry Basket | Infrared systems supplies expansion shrink fit, infrared, which is specifically used for heating application in automobile industry. Out of two components, which have an interference fit, the outer one is expanded by heating just enough to let the inner one slide in, which then becomes a tight fit after cooling. Localised heating ensures that only the portion to be expanded which is heated and other portions that is not heated to have the same extent. Short time cycle is typically 60- 120 sec, leading to compact size of machine. Infrared is switched on and off after the object enters infrared zone. There is absolutely no heat up/cool down time. Also, there is no inventory of hot parts. The conveyors are specially developed for the purpose and the entire unit including conveyor and ir zone is plc[programmable logic controller] controlled. It can be effective both as a standalone machine or a machine synchronized with other conveyors [upstream and downstream] through plc. Because of its latest technology and is absolutely clean to operate condition make it more usable.
