Tata steel`s state of the art ferro alloys plant at joda is equipped with 15 mva and 9 mva furnaces and is capable of producing 40,000 tons of manganese alloys[high carbon ferro manganese & silico manganese]. The alloys are being used by our steel works at jamshedpur. The produce is also being sold domestically by the division and exported to prestigious customers, abroad, through m/s tata international limited.

The division has entered into long-term conversion agreements with several ferro-chrome manufacturing units in india and china. Under these agreements, raw materials like low phosphorus coke, chrome ore, etc are supplied by tata steel. In return, the entire production of these units are reserved for tata steel. Tata steel`s team of professionals exercise strict quality control and ensure that the products so produced, meet the tata standards of excellence.
