• Add to Inquiry Basket | Banner engineering offers a new measuring light screen system. This light screen system combines ease of use with extensive features the ez-array can be set up with a simple dip switch for many applications that require computer connections in competitive systems. Some special features are offered by banner engineering which include: precision accuracy with a minimum object detection of 5 mm and an edge resolution of 2.5 mm. Comprised of a bank of emitters and a parallel bank of receiving sensors, the ez-array is designed for detecting or measuring size and/or position of articles, components and parts, etc. In control and/or sort operations. Various electrical features are:flexible outputs include two digital, two analog and modbus. Visual indications include multi-coloured leds for status, 7-segment bar graph for alignment and 3-digit display for diagnostics. Sensing heights from 150 to 1800 mm are available and sensing distance ranges from 400 mm up to 4 m. Following are some of the salient features of this system:the system`s two-piece design with integrated electronics eliminates need for a separate controller. Proprietary software is included for more advanced settings. Its robust aluminium housing with m 12 connectors meets ip65 standard. This light screen system finds applications in: product sizing and profiling in the packaging and forestry industries hole detection in sheet metal fabrication, edge guiding and loop control for printing and web handling systems, and parts counting and sorting for materials handling and distribution.
