| Siddhi innovative engineering company offers metallising techniques, which are used as anti-corrosive coating on steel structure for seashore, offshore, or similar applications. The total protective coating system is divided into the following three stages: surface preparation - generally grit/sand blasting is adopted for thoroughly cleaned surface metal spraying - aluminium/zinc is sprayed immediately or pre-treated surface: as per requirement of coating, depending on exposure, metal is sprayed and required thickness is deposited: and post-treatment - metallised surface is coated with zinc-rich primer and one coat of epoxy paint is applied. Aluminium spray coating 80-150 microns thick, both sealed and unsealed gives complete protection from corrosion. Zinc-sprayed coating 80-150 microns of sealed zin primer are needed for 19 years of protection.
