• Add to Inquiry Basket | Stmicroelectronics offers stpi6c-ps05, a member of its power logic family is a led driver that includes auto power-saving features. It allows manufacturers to meet the high power-efficiency requirements of industrial lighting, signage and transport applications by guaranteeing savings of 80 per cent compared to existing solutions.
Comparing stp16cps05 with stp16cx596 power logic series it says that the stp16cps05 has an added advantage over the previous stp16cx596 power logic series-it allows the individual ics to go into a shutdown mode when no active inputs are detected. As a result, the new series can save power without external intervention, making it the ideal solution to support all energy saving programs worldwide, which encourage power efficiency in lighting applications.
The stp16cps05 power logic series features a clock and data re-synchronization function, which is useful when the devices are connected in cascade. The ic is available in four package types, of which the thermally efficient exposed-pad -tsso-comes with outstanding heat dissipation features.
Its features includes it operates over a wide temperature range of -40°c to +125°c, can work with a power supply from 3.3v up to 5v. Its output current is programmable from 5 ma to 80 ma to suit applications requiring mid-current range and high-precision led control.
