| Sigma cranes manufactures a wide range of cranes and hoists to suit various industrial applications. Short head room electric wire rope hoists are available in capacities from 250 kg to 32,000 kg. These are of modern design, in general conforming to is:3938 and complying with requirements of the factory act. The hoists are of sturdy steel construction and modular type. Each individual unit such as gearbox, hoist motor, brake, trolley drive, electric gear, etc, is easily accessible for maintenance and repair. The motor is squirrel cage induction type with class b insulation. The brakes are fail-safeelectromagnetic disc or shoe type. Low voltage push buttons operating on 110 v ensure operator safety. All electricals are suitable for 440 v 3-phase ac, 50 hz.
