Mill scales formed on the surface during drawing process in manufacturing are very hard to be removed. Mec shot has designed a special blast-cleaning machine to de-scale and re-move carbon depositions. The machine is operated on suction-induction principle of abrasive blasting. The operator places the sheet on roller conveyor such that the plate gets inserted into the vertical drive roller. The conveyor carries it into the blast chamber where blast gun moves vertically on both the sides, thus, finishing its external surface. The blasting media used is glass bead which is chemically inert, uniformly round in shape, non-cutting in nature and easily controllable by air through reciprocating nozzles. The dust generated is sucked in the dust collector where dust particles are trapped and only clean air escapes to atmosphere keeping environment eco-friendly.
