| Suhner india offers a new family of quill feed machining units. This is available in 4 basic feed options, which meet demands from every quarter of high performance machining applications, and are capable to supporting high machining parameters and modern cutting tool technologies. Following are the 4 basic versions in bem 20-125 family: pneumatic feed machining unit with integrated hydraulic brake cylinder; fully hydraulic feed machining unit, perfect solution for high thrust applications and carbide tools; tapping units with integrated lead screw assembly; and cnc, mechanical feed machining unit with integrated ball screw and digital servo drive. Together, these become an ideal solution for demanding and heavy applications; due to rigid construction, high thrust carrying capacity and wide speed range to provide you most optimum machining conditions always. Design features: max drilling capacity - 25 mm [st 60 steel]; max variable stroke - 125 mm; max tapping capacity - m20 [st 60 steel]; optimum envelope and performance ratio; chrome plated quill guided on honed housing for increased life and durability; rigid cast iron housing with integrated base plate; variable spindle speed up to 10,000 rpm through interchangeable push on pulleys and ac frequency convertor; feed rate 30-20,000 mm/min [for cnc version]; spindle concentricity, within 0.0l mm; tool holding system options; iso/ hsk/weldon/abs; maxtorque transmissible; 80 nm; and max feed force - 20670 n. In short, designed to provide the perfect solution for most of the performance and rigidity related demands in areas like drilling, tapping, multi-drilling, multi-tapping, reaming, chamfering etc.
