The minihyd pressure switch [types p2 and p3] is meant to give electrical changeover signal whenever hydraulic pressure exceeds or drops the preset value. Hydrau-lic line connected to the input line of the switch operates the piston. The slight movement of piston is converted through cam-lever arrangement to oper-ate spdt limit switch, thereby electrical changeover signal takes place, i.E., nc contact opens and no contact closes. Changing spring com-pression with the help of an adjusting screw provided on the top of the body does pressure setting of switch. When hydraulic pressure is cut off, the piston returns to its original position by spring force.
