• Add to Inquiry Basket | Holmarc slides & controls supplies ball slides. These ball slides make use of a bearing system. This bearing system is composed of two rows of balls on both sides of the base with precision ground rods as guiding elements. As the carriage moves, the balls roll along the rods. Following are some of the general features of ball slides which include: constructed in aluminium alloy with black anodised finish; factory pre-load adjustment prevents side play and backlash; light weight aluminium carriage and base; steel shafts, ground over entire length, reduce co-efficient of friction. Technical data: co-efficient of friction - 0.002; straight-line accuracy - 0.01 mm/25 mm of travel; and positional repeatability - 0.005 mm. Special features are provided with these ball slides which include: smooth, accurate, low friction movements. These ball slides are applicable in industries like metrology, automation, instruments, packing machines, spms etc.
