They are used for critical pneumatic instrumentation, controllers, valve positioners and other pneumatic devices. Specifications of the filter-regulators: they are high flow units with stable regulation and temperature compensation, which give a steady output within the limits specified in bs 3512: 1962, bs 4151: 1967 and iec 546: 1976. Models are available with relieving or non-relieving operations. Ports may be specified as 1/4 npt or api.Lp.Int and spring ranges of 2, 4, 7 and 10 bars are available. There is a choice of 5 µm or 25 µm filter elements and manual or automatic drain. B38 filter-regulators are available in corrosion resistant stainless steel to nace or aluminium.
