These SS 316 membranes are available in the micron ratings of 2, 5, 10, 20, 40 and 60 and are aimed at reducing recurring costs of prefilter membranes which have to be replaced at the end of every batch.
The filter media can be easily cleaned by back flushing, waterjet cleaning or by simple regeneration method [involving Caustic and HNO3] which allows the user absolutely trouble free service for years. The entire assembly could be in-situ steam sterilized / autoclaved as required by CGMP.
These SS membranes have the distinct advantage of having consistent filtration rating as against variations observed in case of replaceable membranes of reputed makes.
Being made of SS 316, these membranes are completely devoid of problems such as particle shedding which is inherent in paper membranes.
Filter media can also be offered to suit your existing 142 / 239 mm holders.
