• Add to Inquiry Basket | Microedge electronics manufactures energy saving star delta starter that is useful for starting motors. These starters are also useful for saving energy when connected to the motors that run on low or cyclic load conditions. The star delta starters comprises of built in star delta starter energy-saver module to save energy and operate motor with reduced demand [kva] and improved power factor. Some of the salient features of the star delta starters include lower operating current resulting in motor running cooler leading to increased motor life; optional digital indication for current, hour meter, run overload trip, start overload trip, single phasing trip etc.; and installation in the mcc or near the motor. The company supplies the star delta starters in standard and ip55 and other special enclosures for outdoor uses along with models for use with existing dol starters. The star delta starters provide different options of start in star and change to delta and operate motor in star or delta as well as start in delta and changeover to star when load is less than 50%. These starters are also useful for motors with high starting torques.
