| Kriton welders & engineering company offers overlap seam welders for steel processing lines where a welded joint of double the strip thickness is acceptable and strip surfaces are free from rust and scale. These overlap seam welders are the best choice as these come with a greater welding speed and low electrode maintenance than conventional spot welders. Each new coil is welded in the processing line to end of exit coil, end to end, producing joint seams where current is continuous or intercepted at measured intervals to produce strong joint. These seam welders have clamping mechanisms to prepare the strip for welding and are available with 75, 100, 150, 200 and 250 kva ratings. These overlap dual head seam welding machines are designed and built in various models applicable in end to end welding of coils and strips of normally cold rolled low or medium carbon steel of weldable quality or stainless steel coils are joined end to end prior to a variety of subsequent continuous processing operations. The welding machines can be used in galvanising, tinning, annealing, electrolytic cleaning, continuous annealing, chrome plating, pickling, coating, tension levelling, recoiling, coil preparation, cleaning, decarbonizing, polishing, slitting, etc.
