| Radix manufactures abacus r2, a fully user programmable preset counter/rate indicator/totaliser with 2 setpoints. Each setpoint can be a preset count, or a preset trip limit for rate [low or high]. The preset counter has 8 digits, with 1 or 2 relay outputs, up/down counting and gate input. The programmable relay parameters include latched/auto reset output, relay time and, instant/delayed on. The 6-digit rate indicator shows rate [rpm, meters/min, frequency, litres/hour, etc]. The user can select per second/minute /hour, as also 4 methods for the rate measurement, depending on the input frequency. The user can also program 1 or 2 rate limits [high/low, hysteresis programmable]. The 10 digit totaliser allows continuous totalisation over long periods. The instrument accepts a variety of inputs such as contact closure, proximity switch, voltage pulses, etc, and can work at frequencies up to 25,000/second. It features user programmable 4-digit multiplier [scale factor] with decimal point, 4-digit divider, prescaler, etc. Applications include length counting and speed in textiles, cables, etc, production counting, high/low trip for rpm, low rpm [down to 1 rpm], very high rpm, and hundreds of applications in every conceivable industry. It is housed in a 96 x 96 x 150mm abs case.
