Crompton greaves polymeric surge arresters are designed and tested in accordance with the iec - 60099 - 4/ ansi ieee [62.11] standard. These polymeric surge arresters are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The surge arresters are available in the range 3kv - 144kv. The zpl2 arresters are approximately 1/5 of the weight of the porcelain equivalent. The type zpl2 can be used in any application for continuous maximum line-to-ground voltage on the system.
