Goliya electricals provides vibrating reed frequency meter meco-v. Meco-v vibrating reed frequency meter consists of a row of reeds. The process functions as: an alternating current produces an alternating magnetic field in a coil which causes the reed to vibrate with a natural vibrating rate corresponding to the frequency of the alternating current. The instrument is available in 3 sizes: 72 mm x 72 mm; 96 mm x 96 mm and 144 mm x 144 mm. The case sizes are interchangeable with din 43700. It has a advantage of very low power consumption. These meters are also available in double reed version in size 144 x 144 mm. They are used for measuring frequency in gensets and also for synchronising the genset with mains supply. Standard ranges that are available includes: 47-53 hz, 45-55 hz, and 55-65 hz. The company also offers a range of moving iron panel and switchboard meters in various sizes and parameters.
