| Mass abrasive & tools supply a variety of vitrified grinding wheels. These are marketed and distributed under the brand name kent star. The product range includes: i]bench grinding wheels used for general purpose grinding. These are made from brown aluminium oxide and silicon carbide. Ii]cylindrical grinding wheels are for the purpose of grinding pins to rolls. They are usually available in brown/white/pink/aluminium oxides but wheels are also available in black/green silicon carbide and in a number of combinations to suit the specific applications. Iii] centreless grinding wheels are for the general purpose of grading for steel bright bar, precision auto components, fasteners or dual grading for special applications. Iv] precision grinding wheels are used in bearing and automobile industries, surface grinding, tool and cutter industries, internal grinding, and nut inserted wheels for spring and bearing manufacturing. V] segments of rotary surface grinding cup wheels made in brown/white aluminium oxide and silicon carbide are also available. Salient features: faster stock removal, superior surface finish, better productivity and lower grinding cost. Diameter of the product ranges from 50 to 750 mm and thickness from 6 to 150 mm.
