Elgi electic provides ee series of premium efficiency tefc ac 3 phase squirrel cage induction motors. Designed by teco westinghouse, world leader in electric motors and generators, these motors are well known for high efficiency and energy conservation. These motors meet the latest indian and international standards. Specifications includes: the rated outputs of ee series motors are based on continuous running duty 51 with an ambient temperature not exceeding 450ºc and altitude not exceeding 1000 m above mean sea level and relative humidity up to 100%. Salient features : exceeds eff1 requirements; non-hygroscopic class f insulation; temperature rise limited to class b; terminal box rotation in steps of 90º detachable cable gland plate; ip 55 enclosure; better dynamic response; dynamically balanced; high efficiency and power factor; standardisation of mounting dimensions for interchangeability and sase of maintenance; rugged contruction. The ee series motors applications area includes: textiles pumps, compressors, machine tools, fans and process industry. The standard motors are designed for foot mounting [b3]. Type of motors available are : foot mounted motors without flange; motors with flange types b &c; foot mounted motors with flange. The spacious terminal box can be located on lhs or rhs looking from the drive end. Terminals of accessories like space heaters and thermistors can be accommodated in the main terminal box itself. |
