| Mikron control has introduced several models of snap action automatic and manual reset disc type thermal cut out. These are manufactured for industrial, electronics and domestic electrical appliances like vacuum cleaners, geysers, coffee machines, electric kettles, food warmers, rice cookers, xerox machines, microwave ovens, toasters, dish washers, electric blankets, heating pads, heat sinks, motors, overhead projectors, induction furnace, ups, invertors, etc, where precise control of temperature is necessary. The cut outs are rated at 6, 8, 10 and 250v ac having operating temperature 60°c to 190°c [at an interval of 10°c]. These are available with not only normally closed [nc], but also normally open [no.] contacts. The thermal response system operates via a snap action bimetallic disc. The switch system is not affected by current and reacts to external thermal load. The snap action assures chatter free operation, high switch performances along with long service life.
