| Aplab manufactures mt4080a/mt4080d models of lcr meters which come in a wide range of test frequencies up to 10 mhz [mt4080d] or 100 khz [mt4080a], and measurement parameters including z, l, c, dcr, esr, d, and f. The mt4080a/mt4080d is considered perfect for both component evaluations on the production line and fundamental impedance testing for bench-top applications. These lcr meters are avilable with a built-in direct test fixture which makes testing the leading components easy. The 4-wire test clip of these lcr meters provides fittings to larger components and assemblies with accuracy. The lcr meter is a fast, reliable and versatile tester which comes at low cost. The optional rs232c interface [irda] of these lcr meters makes it an attractive, cost-effective solution for quality assurance and incoming inspection operations.The company claims that mt4080a/4080d is the most advanced handheld lcr meter available on the market. These lcr meters are ideal to check esr [equivalent serial resistance]quickly in a capacitor, the key element in determining efficiency and performance of the smps switched mode power supply design. These meters come with the optional tl08a smd test probe which can test smd as well as conventional components if the wire leads are short to insert in the test terminals. The standard dcr functionenables the meters to measure dc-resistance of primary and secondary of transformers. This handheld lcr meter are available in 470gm weight with a dimension of 174 [l] x 86 [w] x 48 [h] mm. The meters are ideal to be used on either 6 v power adapter or aa-size ni-mh rechargeable battery.
