These systems have mobile base unit, onto which different shelving options can be set up. The system glides on steel track. When particular rack is required, the appropriate aisle is opened up by mechanical or electrical driven base. The advantage of these system is only one corridor is required to service a number of racks. These storage systems save 60 percent of floor space compare to conventional storage systems, as a result storing capacity increases by almost 100 percent .
