• Add to Inquiry Basket | Thermax ltd offers insertable bag filters. Thermax insertable bag filters is a compact self-contained unit - no ducting, hoppers, structural supports, etc. It dislodges dust onto the conveyor/silo/bin itself - no secondary dust problems associated with the disposal of collected dust and no rotary airlock valve. It comes in standard models for gas volumes from 500 up to 12,000 m3/hr and filtration area from 5 up to 75m2. Available in vertical and horizontal options and can be customized for varying filtration areas with special bag arrangements/construction for specific applications. Silos fed by pneumatic or mechanical conveying systems need ventilation to take care of flying dust particles. This maintenance-free unit is normally top mounted. Transfer points involving two such conveyors or from one conveyor to/from other material handling equipment often involve isolated point[s] where free standing bag filter[s] can be an expensive proposition. The unit can be suitably positioned on the conveyor directly.
