| Cristal instruments offers top mounted level switch. This machine facilitates any number of predetermined level controls initiating audio-visual signals with a single unit. It is made to give reliable operation in several industrial applications. This is capable of withstanding temperature up to 200°c and pressure to 40 kg/ cm2. The unit is useful in overhead/underground tanks, hot water service, sterilizing equipment and various process control fluid level applications. The unit includes a vertical guided tube [stem] within which are located the sensor switches, magnetic float sliding over the stem as per the level in the tank, switch housing and necessary mounting connection. The switch used is reed switch hermetically sealed and encapsulated in the stem. Because the switches operate on the principle of magnetic flux coupling with no mechanical connection, fluid contamination of switch components cannot occur. The hermetically sealed, magnetically operated reed switch with rhodium contacts is completely isolated from the medium and ensured for one million operations. Spst or spdt contacts have current ratings from 15 w to 200 w. It has factory set level accuracy within ±2 mm. Differential is 5 mm standard. Repeatability is better than ±0.5 mm. It does not require any maintenance. Process connection of ss square flange 83 mm pcd with 4 bolt holes of 9 mm dia is standard, and other sizes and materials on request. Wetted parts are of ss 304, 316, pvc, pp, pvdf or teflon lined. Switch terminal housing in cast aluminium weather-proof construction is standard, and flame-proof as per is:2148-1981 for gr.I, iia and iib gases on request. Information required to quote are: materials of construction, service medium with special gravity and other details of application, number of actuating levels and their distances from process connection and type of connection. Other types like side mounted, and external-cage level switches are also offered.
