• Add to Inquiry Basket | Neel industrial systems offers fast response, transient-free reactive power compensation systems in various types. The basic system type includes iron core reactors to limit the inrush current. Detuned system type includes reactors that detune the network to prevent resonance and absorb up to 50 per cent of the 5th harmonic. In unbalanced systems, individual phases arc separately corrected, line-to-line or line-to-neutral these systems provide transient-free capacitor group switching, using electronic switching elements. It enhances capacity of transformers, and local generator systems such as diesel and windmill generators. It avoids waveform distortions; since capacitors are connected and disconnected during `zero current`. This system also prevents damage to sensitive electronic equipment and saves energy by reduced maximum demand, pf bonus and saving in transformer losses. It offers accurate power factor control, even in the presence of harmonics. It dramatically increases the life expectancy of switching elements and capacitors. The built-in network analyzer measures all network parameters including harmonics. It is modular and upgradable with increased plant load. Applications are in fast variable loads like cnc machines, welding, induction heating/melting, drives, extruders etc. It also finds applications in sensitive electronic equipment like data centre, r&d labs, corporate offices, telecommunications, hospitals and airports; welding, rolling mills, elevators, cranes, traction etc; and big motors, pumping stations, sewage and water-treatment plants, and air-conditioning plants.
