| Cool well industries manufactures frp cooling towers of the latest design, in capacities ranging from 5 to 150 tonne. These are of vertical induced draught counter flow design with uniform water distribution and optimal heat transfer. The tower casing is made of tough fibreglass reinforced plastic construction. It has sufficient structural strength to withstand high industrial vibrations and wind velocity. The eliminator is of rigid pvc and is of fixed type having small water carryover losses. The fill consists of modular blocks of rigid pvc honey comb construction, reducing the time for contact and heat transfer between water and air. The air pressure drop through the fill is negligible. The fan is directly driven and is of axial flow type. The fan blades are of case aluminium. The fan is statically and dynamically balanced. Water distribution is through fixed sprinkler with spray nozzles for uniform distribution over the fill area. The nozzles are easily removable for cleaning through the inspection window. The fan motor is of totally enclosed type, as per ip-55, and suitable for outdoor mounting. Bird screen is also provided. All ms internal components are gi pipe, and hardware, of stainless steel, making them corrosion-free. The towers are compact and light-weight, easy to install, and maintenance is considerably reduced because the fan is the only moving part.
