Expansion reamers can be expanded upto o 0.5 mm and can be reground to the original size. The expansion reamers can be used for variety of sizes in the range of expansion. It varies from 0.2 mm up to 1 mm, depending upon the diameter. This reamers is a very cost effective tool since the same reamer can be used after expansion several times. Universal engg also manufactures special expansion reamers in specially designed high speed steel with special internal design, whereby tightening of the screw expansion reamers of size can be achieved.
