Andritz separation offers overhead beam filters. The overhead beam filter press plate pack consists of uniform chamber/ membrane plates with a recess of 1550 mm to receive the filter cake. Possible operating pressures: 6, 15, 30 and 60 bar. The higher effective differential pressure, offers product quality advantages in the dewatering of zinc, copper and other metal concentrates. Features free access to the plate pack; special design for the chemical industry [covering/protection of head plate, shifting plate and tie rods; additional protection between overhead beams and plate pack with horizontal curtain]; also suitable for very aggressive media; and available in sizes 1,000 x 1,000 up to 2,000 x 2,000. The presses are reliable in many applications and industries like clay, pesticides, specialty chemicals, refinery, petrochemical industries and in the field of wastewater treatment plant like alum sludge, hydroxide sludge, waste sludge from manufacturing, flue-gas desulphurisation waste gypsum, biological sludge, heavy metal recovery, `blast furnace dust, acid-recovery residue, etc.
