| Mtd make indicating type, magnetically actuated flow, switches are designed for positive detection of fluid flow through your equipment. These are suitable for water, kerosene, lubricating oils of low viscosity etc. These are available in 5 sizes, i.E., 3/8`, 1/2`, 3/4` bsp, suitable size may be select from actual flow rate. Flow rang covered is from 1 to 150 lpm fluid flow in the system is seen through transparent tube. Operating principle: when the fluid flow at the preset condition pass through the flow switch [in upward direction], it lifts the float inside the transparent tube. This float houses a permanent magnet. At this lifted position of the float, a reed switch gets actuated. Similarly, when the drops below desired level, the float sinks down due to gravitational pull and spring force. The reed switch contact opens. These flow switches work purely on actual fluid flow rate and system pressure has no effect on ill working. Construction: the clearance between the float and inner surface of the transparent tube are large enough to the floating particles to pass through, eliminating the chances of clogging. This also reduces the pressure drop across the switch.
