| Tej machine tools introduces gear hobbing machine. Gear hobbing machine [model mg 500] can be used for production of spur, helical, worm, wheels and spline cutting operations. It is designed for work pieces up to a diameter of 500 mm, a module of 5 mm and for a multistart hobbing with a hob speed range from 50 to 500 rpm. The cutter head swivelling is +/- 45 degree for cutting helical gears. The machine has a rigid structure of 25 grade castings. It has features such as hob head with short overhangs, high speed and feed rates and multistart cutting for maximum production. It offers advantages such as reliability, closer tolerances noise free operation and accuracy. It is available in various ranges such as mg 900, mg 1400, mg 1600, mg 2500 and mg 5000.
