Pinacho smart 6 series lathes are the latest in the hugely popular series of smart turn electronic lathes being used successfully by industries across the world. Smart lathes come packed with a host of advanced features making them more powerful, highly versatile and most user-friendly. Some of the significant specifications includes: centre height - 180 mm; admit between centers - 750 mm; spindle bore - 42 mm; bed width - 250 mm; and main motor power - 5.5 kw. Features: unique, dual programming system - smart mode - easy-to-use conversational touch screen programming, iso mode - standard iso programming using g and m codes; large programme memory storage via the pmcia card; new touch screen monitor mounted on a sliding pendant; automatic range change for spindle speeds; full machine guarding. Smart mode features: profile cycle and pattern repeat cycle with 28 points profile editor, automatically calculating rough machining and finishing pass; increased programme blocks up to 40; rpm, feed and tool now stays with the programmed block; tool change positioning [indexing] cycle; and six different in-feed methods for threading operation.
