| Pg electronics has introduced camera based fzs 1024 sensor that is manufactured by sensopart, germany. This is suitable for control applications such as web edge, positioning and alignment control of running web or sheet. Sensors, display and controls are combined in a unit providing the user with a ready-to-use connect device. It includes high quality lenses, which are used for perfect alignment and distance. Control display and function indicators are given for monitoring the process. Analogue output comes in the form of 0-10 v or 4-20 ma. Accuracy of 0.1% of registration width is achieved in this effective yet economical gadget. Apart from the type of controls mentioned above, the sensor can be effectively used for detection of sag, pattern recognition, detection of holes and many more applications.
