• Add to Inquiry Basket | Varitum electro products provides load banks [model vrl] that are lightweight, portable resistive instruments designed for indoor use, used for testing small generator sets and ups units. These load banks are used for production line testing and by field service personnel. Load banks with greater load capacities, ac or dc models, and portable or fixed styles, are available as per the customers requirement. Loads can be flexibly applied for required load at 230
v ac single phase. The resistive load elements operate at only 1 /3 [or less] of their maximum temperature rating eliminating the need for a cool down period after operation. The load banks are simple to use. They do not require tools. Electrical connections are made on the front of the units using hand-tightened terminals. Standard banana jacks for connecting hand-held multimeters are provided. Multimeter allows voltage, current, or frequency monitoring. Some of the features include: compact and simple to operate; reliable load elements; easy to read meters; handheld multimeter compatible; no cool down period; full instrumentation available in analogue or digital; and data acquisition system with
computer interface facility available. The load banks are used with engine generators, battery systems, ups systems, inverters, ground power units, aircraft power generators, wing generators and hydro generators. They are also used to test, prove and maintain ac or dc generators and power supplies.
