| Resistoflex offers a wide range of vibration isolating units. These are suitable for general industrial applications including large sized diesel generating sets. In addition to standard type of rubber-to-metal bonded mountings, resistoflex, in technical collaboration with christie & grey of uk, has developed metal springs and viscous damper units. An isolation efficiency of up to 95% or even more can be attained. Another added advantage is very low amplitude build-up when passing through resonance during start-up or shut-down. Generating sets up to 3,500 kva or more can be conveniently set without the usual and expensive foundation preparation. Standby dg sets up to 100 kva can even be operated on roof-tops instead of ground floor or basement.
