Space-age EPDM based thermoplastic rubber provides extended life and improved performance. The Disc Type Course Bubble Snap-Cap Diffuser consists of two simple parts, the support base and a flexible snap-on check diaphragm. During aeration, the diaphragm lifts from the base, allowing the air to exit through the orifices in the diaphragm. When the air stops, the diaphragm is instantly seated against the base by the pressure head of liquid, preventing backflow and clogging. The novel edge design of the Disc Type Course Bubble Snap-Cap Diffuser locks on the removal diaphragm to avoid blow off unusual pressure surges. These diffusers are available with ¾" NPT threads in plastic base and stainless steel models. Snap-Cap diffusers can handle air flows from 5 m3/hr to17 m3/hr.
