These are made with less than 10% extractable oils in the final products.
Disc membranes have Die-T test results as per ASTM D624-91 of over 110 pounds/ linear inch. Die-T measures tear propagation, which is the amount of force required to continue a tear. Disc Type Diffuser can be compounded in hundreds of different ways, with different fillers, curvatures and percentage concentration of base polymer. The plastic disc diffusers are made of environmentally friendly polypropylene, and are designed to seal tightly without leakage. The membrane has an integral O-ring seal which is tightly compressed by our retaining ring which keeps air in and water out.
