Trimos metrology has introduced thv measuring instrument manufactured by trimos [switzerland]. The thv measuring instrument meets the constantly increasing high quality requirements of industrial manufacturers for many applications. The checking of internal and external sizes can be accomplished easily and accurately with a single measuring system. Basic gauge calibration can also be attained with this versatile unit. It is an idealsystem for calibrating and inspecting many types of soft inspection tools, thus saving much expense on outside calibration laboratory cost. Besides gauge calibration, the thv is perfect for the inspection of high precision machined parts. Perfection in instrument construction and the use of the heidenhain or sylavac measuring systems [maximum resolution 0.02 um] ensures high accuracy. . The unit is simple and easy to use, due to which it becomes precise and gives quick performance of all measurements. The instrument is usable in a horizontal position, or can be rotated through 90° using the optional support stand. The system includes following features:
