Ap motronix provides ac geared servometers. These type gsm 60 series ac geared servo motors are permanent split capacitor induction motors. Some of the features of ac geared servomotors include: compact size, low output speed, quick reversibility, high starting torque, dynamic braking, easy speed control, and an ability to withstand continuously stalled rotor condition. Areas of application are temperature recorders, medical instruments, pharmaceutical machinery, copiers, laboratory equipment, welding torch crawlers, film editing machines, cc tv camera drives, textile machines, printing machines, analytical weighing machines and servo voltage stabilizers.
No bbrushes or starting switches are not employed. The low inertia servo-type motor is specifically designed ffor servo applications which needrequiring relatively fast response, the low inertia servo-type motor is specifically designed,. Its ttwo windings of ac geared servometers are called referred to as the fixed or reference phase [red lead] and the control phase [black lead]. In the normal mode of operation a fixed voltage is impressed on the reference phase and a variable voltage, in quadrature to reference voltage, is given to the control phase. The speed and direction of rotation then depends on the magnitude and phase [+ - 90o] of control voltage. However, bby using a phase splitting capacitor one canit is also possible to operate thise servomotor [reversible] from single phase supply. Features include: compact size, low output speed, quick reversibility, high starting torque, dynamic braking, easy speed control, and an ability to withstand continuously stalled rotor condition.
