Various features of these high precision spindle include: permanent magnet, ac induction and air driven motors; widest spindle power range; spindle speeds up to 200,000 rpm; hsk taper, steep taper, ball bearings, hydrostatic and air bearings; direct collet clamping, manual collet and threaded arbor tool holding configurations; and spindle housing diameters from 42 to 310 mm.
