This heater falls under the thinband® heater and the standard mica band heater for special constructions. The watlow`s band and nozzle heaters are best for any type of plastics processing equipment. Unique features, made of various types of sheath material like:
stainless steel with mica insulation with maximum operating temperatures 540 c [1000°f]
Stainless steel with mineral insulation with maximum operating temperatures 760°c [1400°f]
Aluminized or zinc steel with mica insulation operating temperatures 480°c [900°f].
