| Pyrotech electronics offers a speed measuring system, which is highly reliable and uses solid-state components that need no maintenance even under harsh industrial environments. The system consists of proximity, speed to ma converter and indicator/controller. The proximity gives pulse output and converter accepts pulses from proximity and gives standard 4 20 ma isolated output. Dcs/plc/indicator or controller can use the 4 20 ma isolated output. The company also offers dual output converter. The power supply for proximity switch is in-built with converter. In the controller there are two set points with relay changeover contact rated for 6 a resistive load at 230 v ac. The accuracy of the system is ±0.25% or better, and linearity is ±0.25% of span. It operates on 110/220 v ac supply and housing of converter is made of high impact abs for field mounting with ip 65 class protection [equivalent to nema 4]. Digit indicator housing is of extruded aluminium. This unit is also used in petroleum, chemical, steel, cement, sugar and other process control industries.
