These pumps are simple centrifugal pumps mounted on an extended shaft motor such that the extended pump portion remains immersed in liquid to be pumped. These pumps are very useful to handle water from shallow tanks in textile units; kerosene in granite cutting and polishing machines; coolant in large machines and in many other industrial applications.
